IDEA Training Institute is a new kind of technical institute. We train the technicians Kenya’s economy runs on: the people who build, maintain and keep its industries moving.
Our learners train where the work happens, on sites, in workshops and alongside employers. From their first term, they build practical skills and a record of real work, so they leave ready to contribute and ready to earn.

Our story
IDEA began with a simple observation. Kenya does not lack young people ready to work, or employers ready to hire. It lacks a bridge between them. Too many graduates leave college with a certificate and no experience, and too many employers are left training from scratch.
So we designed an institute around the bridge. Employers help write our courses, host our learners and assess their work. Every learner builds a record of real jobs from the first term. The result is a graduate who is qualified, experienced and ready to earn from day one.
