Course overview

Applied Artificial Intelligence

Artificial intelligence is changing how every business in Kenya works. The people who can put it to work safely and productively are in short supply. This diploma trains you to be one of them.

You learn how AI systems work, how to prepare and check the data they depend on, and how to build practical tools that automate real tasks. You apply every skill to live problems set by our employer partners, from customer service to logistics.

IDEA is developing one of the first competency-based AI curricula in Kenya's TVET system, at KNQF Levels 5 and 6. You graduate with a national qualification and a portfolio of working AI projects that employers can see and test.
